Our Executive Chef; Justus
Jennings comes to The Kitchen from San Francisco where he graduated from Le
Cordon Bleu program at california culinary Academy with a Degree in Culinary
Arts. Many years of experience in French restaurants around San Francisco have honed
his talents and now Shenzheners can experience his special brand of
international cuisine.
Justus came to China in late 2008 and was in charge
of a high end Shenzhen apartment complex club restaurant, providing dining
services for the residents and also VIP functions. but, his soul yearned for the
busy bistro environment; so now he is “home”.
He is highly trained and
experienced in providing high quality, innovative food, service, and leadership
to aid in the success of high output restaurants. Focusing on creative, modern,
yet classical food. with a high standard of service, and an emphasis on the
exposure to food and wine culture. Justus appreciates the intimate nature of The
Kitchen as he enjoys the personal contact with clients and enjoys discussing
fine food and wine.
